Tears and applause: Gaza disaster recreated in film that stuns Venice


In this episode of arts 24, we start at the Venice Movie Event, where a painful film concerning a five-year-old woman killed throughout an Israeli assault on Gaza, entitled “The Voice of Hind Rajab”, got a 23 -minute applause. Directed by Tunisian filmmaker Kaouther Ben Hania and executive created by Brad Pitt, Joaquin Phoenix and others, the movie uses actual phone recordings to reconstruct the youngster’s final moments, leaving target markets noticeably trembled and movie critics calling it the most urgent entry of the festival.
