Choreographer and dancer Akram Khan took ideas from the Nabataean tribes of the Saudi Arabian desert for his most current creation “Thikra: Night of Keeping in mind”, as he explores regional practices with Saudi musician Manal Al Dowayan. He informs us why organizing an all-women manufacturing in the kingdom came naturally, regardless of taboos bordering public efficiencies and why his job has actually always been notified by a female look. We also review his life-changing partnership with the late director Peter Creek and his forthcoming tasks as Khan tours his last production with the dance business he started 25 years ago.
